Captain Race

Manchester United have been rather lucky or Blessed with Great captains in the recent years. From Wayne Rooney, Vidic, Bryan Robson, George Best,  Eric  Cantona, many others. Few people think that our Current Captain Rooney who’s form is not up to date and Future  uncertain, will he be able to lead this Great  Club  to Glory with his own career hanging by a thread?


With This Question in Mind  we will have to find a rather worthy and certain Captain who not only be a leader  but also form a link between the  players and Management.
Let’s analyze  the potential  players who will be perfect to lead the club.

1. Paul Pogba
Pogba is considered as a future Captain and also a favorite candidate of the  Boss. The record signing who is living up to his huge price tag can surely  be a captain. If Given Captains  armband there would not be a motivational factor due to  his  age but would be a great link between the young  players and the  staff. He is  a potential Captain but needs a few years of experience.









2.Ander Herrera.
Herrera looks currently  the perfect Captain he is smart, sensible, and has a little motivational factor in him.He is a born Leader on the pitch. He being a Midfielder is already a link between the Defense and attack.With his box to box passing  strength and attacking capacity will make  a great skipper

3 David De Gea.
De Gea has been Uniteds First choice keeper who has been  taking the footballing world by storm with his world class saves.The United  player of the year who is said to be better  than  likes of Neuer and Buffon can make a good Captain with his experience,but will not as he is a goalkeeper. But  would be down in the race because of his position. Not saying that he will not but could not.

3 Chris Smalling.
Chris Smalling who already  has been leading the Red  Devils  in a few occasions is  an unlikely  candidate  to lead the  side  permanently because  of his frequency of injuries and  with his own career hanging. Due to speculation of a New  defensive  signing he looks unlikely.

4  Zaltan Ibrahimovic
The newly crowned king of Manchester, Zaltan Ibrahimovic has been by default been named a captain due to his  vast experience  and scoring ability. At 35 Ibrahimovic has been taking the Premier League for a Joyride and has been a goalkeepers nightmare. Due to his experience players will get much needed  confidence and role modeling.He is  Looks leading the race of Captaincy.
